Century Properties Group Inc., one of the listed real estate developers in the country, has launched its P4.1-billion residential project in the Commonwealth area in Quezon City, which will be the first mid-rise community that will rise in the city.
“For the first time ever, Century Properties is bringing its vaunted heritage of upscale visionary real estate development to the Commonwealth, Quezon City area. Century will introduce the uncommon to redefine the standards for residential living in Quezon City. Hence, the Quezon City re-imagined tagline,” said Marco Antonio, managing director and co-chief operating officer of Century Properties.
At a construction cost of P4.1 billion, Commonwealth by Century will have a total of 2,300 units. The figure adds to the 15,703 condominium and office units and 955 single detached homes of Century Properties’ four master planned developments that are currently under construction: Century City in Makati City; Canyon Ranch in Cavite City; Azure Urban Resort Residences in Parañaque City and Acqua Private Residences in Mandaluyong City.
“The Commonwealth project seeks to capture local and overseas buyers, especially young professionals and startup families that consider P1.5 million to P3 million within their budget range for a home,” Antonio said.
He said that affordable price is Century Properties’ move to put forward products with its stamp of innovation in various markets and price points.
“According to recent reports by property analysts, there remains to be a huge demand for housing in the Philippines. By entering the affordable price category, we would like to tell home buyers that there is a Century home for each budget and preference for location within Metro Manila,” he added.
Commonwealth by Century will rise along Commonwealth Avenue right beside Don Antonio Heights, and is within the vicinity of a shopping center, top schools, techno hubs, churches and major thoroughfares.
“[Commonwealth by Century] has convenient access to transportation like shuttles, buses, jeepneys and a future MRT [Metro Rail Transit] station. It will be a first of its kind in an area that has largely remained common for years,” Century Properties said.
